John Ward, Chairman
John has been involved in primary industries all his life (some 60 years) and has a rich family history in broad acre farming in the Swan Hill and Balranald areas of northern Victoria. John has been involved in machinery and vehicle merchandising in Mildura and managed an agricultural machinery manufacturing company for 6 years. John has 150 acres of winegrape plantings of his own which he developed in 1997. John has been a board member of the Swan Hill Pioneer Settlement Authority from 1981 to 1994 and the Chairman from 1983 to 1994. John has a sound understanding of governance issues and is keen to further advance the Murray Valley Winegrape Industry Development Committee.

Andrew Murdoch
NSW grower representative from Dareton - owns a 100% wine grape property.

Barry Cock
Director of private enterprises, Sam Sales Pty Ltd, Riversun Pty Ltd (citrus marketing), previous board member of Sunraysia District Citrus Co-operative Society and of the Murray Valley Citrus Marketing Board. Now owns numerous wine grape properties and is a NSW grower representative.

Jan O'Connor
Jan owns and operates a contract mechanical grape harvesting business and manages vineyards in Robinvale and Clare Valley. Jan has considerable experience in the winegrape industry and is a current board member of the Grape and Wine Research Development Corporation and is a former member of the Australian Wine Research Institute. Jan is a Victorian grower representative.

Rachael McClintock
Rachael owns and operates a consulting/advisory business, servicing the Sunraysia, Riverland and Clare Valley wine growing districts. She has 18 years’ experience in the viticulture industry and grew up in the wine industry of NZ. She participates in numerous industry workshops and works very closely with private & corporate vignerons.

Anne Mansell
Anne has over 20 years experience in the horticulture sector as a partner in a family owned citrus and winegrape property and also brings a wealth of experience in regional development having been a Project Officer, then the Executive Officer at the Sunraysia Area Consultative Committee. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Certificate of Business Management and a Diploma in Corporate Governance. Anne has recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Planning. Anne has been involved in a number of local organisations, including; Advisory Committee of the Lower Basin Laboratory - CRC for Freshwater Ecology, Mildura Rural City Councillor 1997-2003, Sunraysia Economic Development Board Inc, Sunraysia Citrus Growers and Mildura Schools Chaplaincy. Anne is on the Board of Mallee Family Care Inc and is the Chief Executive Officer of Mildura Development Corporation.

Adrian Thompson
Adrian is a second generation winegrape grower who returned to the 50ha family vineyards in Red Cliffs and Iraak in 2004. Adrian has a commercial pilots licence and was a flight instructor and charter pilot. He maintains his active interest in flying as a member of the Mildura Aero Club. Adrian has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Aviation) and is part-way through a Bachelor of Applied Science (Viticulture). Since returning to the region Adrian has actively participated in numerous industry related workshops and forums.

Murray Spicer
NSW Government representative. Murray is the NSW DPI Manager for Horticulture Industry Development.

Jonathan Drohan
Victorian Government representative, Senior Policy Analyst at Department of Primary Industries in Melbourne.
